Laura Wright CIPD Tutor and HR Support Apprentice Amy Webster

Amy’s CIPD Tutor, Laura Wright said:

“I was over the moon to hear that Amy had been nominated but not at all surprised.  Amy has grown in confidence since starting her apprenticeship and has demonstrated all the attributes required to be successful:  having an enquiring mind; showing commitment to work hard, being ‘present’ in all sessions, actively participating and engaging with other learners.  This nomination is well deserved and I’m sure that Amy is destined for success in whatever she chooses to do next.”

The Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) Level 3 Certificate in People Practice qualification has enabled Amy to develop her recruitment skills, and ability to design policies and processes effectively whilst implementing reward strategies at an operational level.

Emma Harrison Managing Director Whyy? Change

Upon finding out the news of Whyy? Change’s nomination, Emma Harrison PCQI, Managing Director of Whyy? Change, added:

“I’m thrilled that Whyy? Change has been nominated for a fourth consecutive year as it demonstrates the level of quality and consistency that we have adopted and maintain year on year.

It’s a huge privilege to be shortlisted in such prestigious awards which are celebrating people wanting to learn and progress their careers, what better way to do this amongst like-minded businesses. Whyy are focused on the individual and their learning experience and it’s important that this is recognised alongside the achievement.”

When asked about the impact the training has had on apprentices at Whyy? Change, Emma added:

“The apprenticeship programmes have had a huge impact on the learners we work with, so much so, we have had multiple learners return to us for their second apprenticeships as their careers have progressed. Most have grown in confidence and feel they add true value to the businesses they work for. Gaining a professional qualification alongside many of the apprenticeships has been significant to many learners as this has led to them feeling more credible and respected in their roles.”
