Whyy Change Celebrates Outstanding Qualification Achievement Rates (QAR)

South Yorkshire’s leading independent training provider, Whyy? Change is proud to announce its latest Qualification Achievement Rate (QAR) results for 2023-2024, achieving an impressive overall achievement rate of 76.3%, surpassing national averages across multiple apprenticeship standards. Even more notably, apprentices trained by Whyy? Change have achieved a 100% pass rate, demonstrating the organisation’s commitment to delivering high-quality training and development.

Qualification Achievement Rates measure the percentage of learners who successfully complete their qualifications on time. High QARs indicate effective teaching, robust support systems, and engaged learners, all of which are essential for the growth and development of both individuals and businesses.

Emma Harrison, Managing Director of Whyy? Change, expressed her delight at the results:

“I am thrilled to share that our Qualification Achievement Rate data for 2023-2024 has been published, with Whyy? Change achieving an overall achievement rate of 76.3%. I’m even more proud to confirm that the apprentices we have supported and developed have achieved a 100% pass rate overall, which is outstanding!!”

Exceeding National Averages

The latest QAR data highlights Whyy? Change’s success across several key apprenticeship standards, exceeding national averages in every case:

  • Level 3 Team Leader Apprenticeship: 66% (National Average: 62%)
  • Level 5 Operations Manager Apprenticeship: 75% (National Average: 59%)
  • Level 4 Improvement Practitioner Apprenticeship: 75% (National Average: 57%)
  • Level 4 Quality Practitioner Apprenticeship: 83% (National Average: 71%)
  • Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship: 83% (National Average: 68%)

Additionally, three other standards in Continuous Improvement and Marketing have achieved a 100% achievement rate, showcasing the effectiveness of Whyy? Change’s tailored programmes.

Emma shared her appreciation, going on to say:

“I would like to thank the employers we work with for their continued support and for allowing us the opportunity to develop their teams and help transform their businesses. Without your trust in us, we wouldn’t be where we are today.

The apprentices deserve every success for the hard work and resilience shown to complete their apprenticeships to such high standards. The programmes aren’t easy, especially when juggling work and personal pressures.

It’s humbling to see how far some apprentices have come when they have faced some significant challenges along their journey, but they haven’t given up!

I’d also like to thank our amazing team for the dedication they show in every training session in ensuring that every apprentice has the best learning experience. Our team are more than ‘tutors’, they are highly skilled practitioners, they are ‘entertainers’, they are knowledgeable, they are driven and most of all, every one of them genuinely cares about every apprentice they work with. That’s why I’m proud to be part of Whyy? Change.”

Whyy? Change prioritises quality over quantity, ensuring each learner receives tailored guidance and support to complete their apprenticeship successfully. The organisation’s Qualification Achievement Rate (QAR) results speak for themselves, proving that a specialist, high-quality provider can outperform larger organisations when it comes to learner achievement and employer satisfaction.

Whyy? Change’s continued success is a result of its learner-centric approach, which includes:

  • A high-quality onboarding process, working closely with employers, ensures each apprentice is enrolled on the right programme at the right time.
  • Well-structured curricula across all apprenticeship programmes provide logical learning pathways that engage apprentices from day one.
  • Continued tutor and employer engagement, offering extensive support throughout the programme and end-point assessment, contributing to the 100% pass rate across all standards.

With these latest results, Whyy? Change continues to set the benchmark for apprenticeship training, supporting businesses and learners to achieve their goals whilst making a positive impact on the local community.
