Whyy Change has been very busy for the last few months.
We opened our doors to meet other businesses in the Sheffield City Region at our Afternoon Tea Networking event organised by Josh. We have also hosted a free lean workshop, as well as ran a fundamentals of project management workshop, all of these were an overwhelming success and we look forward to hosting more events in the future.
New staff members Josh and Hannah have settled in well to their roles, with both taking on a lot of responsibility and relishing the challenge that comes with this. Both have had a baptism of fire of the realities of working in an SME and have enjoyed the accountability that this comes with, knowing that this kind of experience is hard to come by in other graduate roles.
Exciting News!
Perhaps the most exciting news of all however is that Whyy Change are now a Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Approved Centre. After a rigorous process, Hannah has delivered this project within 2 months of beginning at Whyy Change and CEO Ray Byrne is delighted with her efforts. He said ‘In any enterprise, teamwork is key. Hannah wanted the responsibility to demonstrate her ability to deliver results, and wow what results. From start to finish the process took 6 weeks. Well done Hannah. I have been very impressed with your drive, ambition and determination to do the right things and make it fit for purpose’.
Hannah adds ‘I am immensely proud of the achievement and would never imagined that in the first 2 months of my first graduate job I would have been given the responsibility to deliver such an important element of the business’.
What now?
Now that Whyy Change are approved by the CMI we can begin to deliver training and apprenticeships in the Principles of Leadership and Management Level 3 and 5. From certificate to diploma. Whyy Change want to do things right, that is why we strive to deliver high quality, applicable accredited training. Our focus is a tailored approach to suit the needs of our clients, and not just deliver a blanket solution to everybody.
