Rotherham’s highest-rated independent apprenticeship training provider, Whyy? Change, is now a Highfield Approved Centre. The announcement sees Whyy? Change expand its portfolio of accredited training courses in a move to deliver Functional Skills via a local partner.

The move to Highfield Qualifications enables Whyy? Change to partner with a global leader in compliance, work-based learning, accredited and apprenticeship qualifications and one of the UK’s most recognisable awarding organisations.

Regulated by Ofqual, Qualifications Wales, SQA Accreditation, the Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA), and the Security Industry Authority (SIA).

Emma Harrison, Managing Director of Whyy? Change said:

“When completing a review of our accredited partners, it was great to be able to take the opportunity to work with and be supported by another South Yorkshire business who are focused on a quality, personal approach. I’m pleased we were approved to deliver their qualifications alongside the other highly regarded awarding organisations we work with.”

Whyy? Change, based in Rotherham at the AESSEAL New York Stadium, are committed to working with local businesses, with Highfield Qualifications located just 15 miles away in Doncaster, this partnership will support businesses to upskill their employees across South Yorkshire.

As an independent apprenticeship training provider, under the current funding rules for apprenticeships, all learners on a level 3 or higher apprenticeship, must achieve functional skills at level 2. To meet this rule, Whyy? Change is required to enrol all apprentices who haven’t completed functional skills at level 2 (or equivalent) onto a Maths and English course alongside their apprenticeship. Becoming a Highfield Approved Centre

Highfield’s flexible online assessment methods, resources and mock assessments now makes completing the Functional Skills Level 2 Maths and English assessments, easier and quicker. While giving learners the flexibility to complete it in a time most convenient for them.

Alongside Highfield-accredited courses, Whyy? Change is also an approved or accredited study centre for the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

Whyy? Change specialises in face-to-face apprenticeships, short courses, and accredited professional qualifications in; Marketing, Leadership, HR, Quality HSE and Lean & Six Sigma to help businesses upskill their employees. Whyy? Change adds value to create the best learning experience possible through interactive face-to-face workshops, delivered by industry experts in open cohorts.
