Apply for funding now

Skilled advisors will work with businesses to identify what skills they need to develop. It will help them to apply for funding and to connect with high quality training providers.  Phase 2 of the Skills Bank programme is now open for applications.

Whyy Change is a training provider and is certified to deliver training through the skills bank. Ray Byrne, Chief Executive, told us:

“We help businesses to improve. At Whyy? Change we do this through business training and professional development. Our courses include CMI Approved leadership and management courses, apprenticeships, and training in Lean & Six Sigma, Sales and Marketing.

“We work with a range of South Yorkshire-based companies who tell us that they need to develop their skills to achieve real growth, and we’re expecting a huge demand for this programme.

“Our clients include Sheffield’s Advanced Manufacturing Research centre with Boeing. The companies we work with report that training in South Yorkshire is inflexible and can be expensive. What we’re offering as part of this programme is totally flexible and is tailored to meet the needs of each business.”

Whyy Change is located just off J36 of the M1, with ample space and free parking and it’s easily accessible from the whole of South Yorkshire.
