New Beginnings
It has been a busy few weeks at Whyy. A change of house, and 2 new employees has seen a fresh impetus.
Whyy have moved from their old home, a 200 square foot office at Thorncliffe Hall business park, to a 5000 square foot 2 storey unite at Brookdale court.
The new recruits are Josh Jordan and Hannah Spence, 2 fiercely ambitious graduates looking to achieve success in their own careers by helping to grow Whyy? Change.
Josh joins us on the back of completing a masters degree in Sports Business Management, and came through the competitive RISE scheme, competing with hundreds of graduates for a handful of roles. Josh is excited by the new challenge, and can’t wait to get stuck in. His naturally competitive nature will be key to help the business succeed.
After graduating with a 1:1 in BA Modern Languages (German, Dutch, Portuguese) – and securing four other accolades for outstanding achievements along the way – Hannah made it through the Sheffield City Region RISE selection process to join our new team. Hannah is responsible for researching and developing the policies and governance of our accreditation programme, and uses her attention to detail, analytical ability, and logical planning skills to make sure that things go smoothly.
Our CEO Ray Byrne added ‘I see 2018 as a breakthrough year at Whyy Change. Josh and Hannah represent the high calibre of graduates our Universities can offer. My job is to give them the ownership of their roles to allow them to shape the future of Whyy Change’.
