Whyy? Change’s 2019 in numbers

It’s been an amazing year! Here’s our breakdown of 2019 in numbers.

1 new study centre accreditation

Our biggest milestone this year was being accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing as an official study centre. This made us very happy and proud 😊 You can find us on the CIM’s study centre finder.

5 brand new courses

Thanks to our accreditation, we were able to launch two Chartered Institute of Marketing Courses – the level 3 certificate in Marketing and the level 4 professional certificate in marketing. We offer these as qualifications on their own, or as an added extra for people studying for our new Digital Marketing, Marketing Executive and Marketing Assistant apprenticeships. 5 new team members

We loved welcoming 5 new team members to Whyy? this year! We brought colleagues on board in Governance, Marketing, Project Management, Functional Skills and Sales.

127 event attendees

We held several events at our huge training centre in Tankersley, and some at venues across South Yorkshire. We were pleased to meet lots of new people, to share ideas, and to eat cake with friends. We hosted events in negotiation, digital marketing and quality improvement. We have our very first event of 2020 booked for 2nd January if you want to join us.

74 jars of coffee recycled

At our busy HQ we have lots of people visiting for training and events. This means lots of cups of coffee.

14 blog posts published

We published a lot of blog posts to share our findings, let people know what we’ve been up to and offer insights on best practice. Read our latest news.

54 books purchased

Having a lot of learners, plus an office full of lifelong learners, means that we buy a lot of books here at Whyy?

Our favourite non-academic book this year has been Fish! – take a look, it’s highly recommended.

1,409 new contacts

Our little black book is growing, with more than 1,4000 people now on our database. We’re having conversations with new people every day and welcoming new customers each month.  The customers we’re working with are becoming part of our family, choosing to stay with us and to send more employees for training when they see the great results they’re getting.

In reflection

As a team, we continue to be committed to helping companies get more out of their employees to help businesses be the best they can be.

In 2020 we will bring you more advice, strategies and suggestions that will help you to use the talent in your workforce to benefit your business.
